3/4 Modern Log Cabin Workshop
Bright Kona solids in an improv quilt, using a familiar quilt block Log Cabin in a new way to help explore both improv quilting and opportunity to use Alternative Grid work.
The project is 24-30" x 24-30" but can easily be expanded to almost any size.
Improv under the influence
Using two color families of 5” squares, we will improv piece “piano key like” rows. This project is quick and we even can chain piece parts of the project.
Project finishes approximately 51” x 51” but can be adapted to any size

Quick Curve Ruler
Quilters will learn how to sew curves easily, without pinning, and making oversize blocks that we square up, so perfection is not needed. Classes use the Sew Kind of Wonderful Quick Curve Ruler.
Examples:
- Chic Country
- Urban Winter
- Metro Rings -
a contemporary double wedding ring - Mod Owls
